Protan GG Membrane

green roofs and car parks can be made with Protan GG membran. It is root resistant and has high load and pressure bearing capacity.

Protan GG membrane is a membrane that is used for car park floors, on roofs with planted areas, in  culverts and other high load bearing constructions. Protan GG membrane is composed of flexible PVC and is reinforced with glass fibre.

Protan GG membrane is recommended for green roofs. Protan GG membrane is root-resistant, is constructed to withstand heavy loads and water pressures and has excellent ageing characteristics under such conditions. The membrane is quick and easy to install, and does not require any mechanical reinforcement along  terminations and edge trim detail.

Protan Ballasted Roofs

Covered water pressure membranes in roof structures are generally referred to as protected roofs. The ballast material may be concrete slabs, shingle, or soil as the surface for a planted roof.

Protan Inverted Roofing Systems

Inverted roofs are an insulated, ballasted roof structure with the membrane under the insulation.

Protan Dual Roofing Systems

Dual solutions have insulation both over and under the membrane. The membrane is provided with extra protection against temperatures and mechanical loading from both sides.

Protan Green Roofs

Green roofs with turf and grass are an ancient Scandinavian construction technique that goes back hundreds of years.

Protan Prefabricated details

Protan has one of the widest ranges of prefabricated details on the market, including details for corners, pipes and upstands.
